Asostraik
How do you like the idea of adding an iron trap for hunting?
StrayCat
At first I started to agree and could add "that would be a good idea for a rare and useful item, that could be repaired with metal scraps". But then I realised that this allow you to "hunt" deers, wolves and bears without any risk for yourself. No need to carefully approach your target, just throw it and harvest later, 0 risk of injury. Wouldn't that be unbalanced ? There should absolutely be a risk when using it. My suggestion : the risk can be the trap suddenly triggering on your hands while placing it (heavy injury), this would be quite fair. And people will think twice before setting traps everywhere. Asostraik
But what if she doesnt kill the animal, but hurts him? Will this be a balance for you?
StrayCat
Well, in that case your iron trap would become kind of useless, don't you think ? Or if the animal is still trapped and you have to kill it, it would still be a 100% safe kill. I'd rather think of it as a "powerful and rare, but risky" item. henroe32
If you were thinking of something like a bear trap I can see your character losing his arm if it triggered on him.
