Can see 100 yards in a blizzard

Is it a bug? It kinda makes it hard to tell if its a blizzard or not now, and made it very easy to traverse to the next location.

There were patch notes from the last test branch that indicate it is intentional.  From the Master Changelist:

"Visual Updates. We've updated the lighting, fog colour, and fog distance, providing much longer vista views in the game which makes it easier to navigate by visible landmarks. We've also been updating interior lighting. We'll be continuing this work right up to our August 1st launch."

You might notice from sfx, or by opening the first aid page and noticing the crazy low temps.

But shouldnt blizzards limit vision? That was half the danger of them! Oh dear.
