Gleudal
Hej hej! I realised that my hunting knive degrades 2% per use. No matter if I am cutting a single curtain within 6 min or quartering a complete bear. I think this should change. I think after harvesting an animal it should lose a massive amount (as we re separating bones and stuff), for example for the bear 50%, wolf 20%, deer 30%, rabbit 10%. So I would also need to sharpen more often. On the other hand I think a curtain should not cause any degrading at all, as less than 1% changes doesnt matter in the game mechanic. What do you guys think?
TheHunter280
Cutting trough flesh don't dull that much a knife, I mean do you wack your knife in the carcass to harvest ? Whatever, your post is good but I prefer to have 2 different condition percentage -Sharpness : A percentage on how efficient your tool is -Condition : The old percentage but adjusted To adjust the old way I propose that task putting stress on tool like struggling with a wolf should remove more condition than normal task and normal task only remove very small amount while I will left how much tasks dull the blade to balance on the long lasting knife
