I wonder if maps or version of the maps used in story mode will make their way into Sandbox... er Survivor Mode

Let me rephrase that... I wonder if the Regions seen in Story mode will appear in Sandbox or at least some version of them

I would think so. Why waste a perfectly good map? Now, they might be locked until after you finish that portion of Story Mode, so as not to spoil the story, but that would be something that I could handle just fine. I would be a bit disappointed if there were maps in the Story that I couldn't access in Survivor Mode.

Yes, the new regions appearing with Wintermute will also be playable in Survivor Mode (Sandbox). Hope that helps!
