Graphical craziness

Ever since the Vigilant Trespass update, I've randomly and frequently been getting glitches like this.

Also, first time I've ever found a Heavy Hammer in Timberwolf mountain! Is that a bug too? I'm playing in Interloper mode so it's surprising I even found a tool in that ice fishing hut at all, let alone the rarest tool in the game!
