Hand cranked flashlight is a flashlight that get powered by muscle power of person who is using it !!!!

(there is no need of battery !!!!! )

So what is your idea about it ???

I like it more than carefully managing batteries, but unfortunately, until we know just what exactly happened to the world in TLD, arguing about eletrical devices is a bit pointless I think, since we don't know just exactly what broke and why.

Still, if my personal suspicions about the nature of the event are, indeed, correct, a hand-cranked flashlight would be a very nice addition. They also aren't that rare - I have like three or four of them, I sometimes get them for free at hardware stores. They aren't that bright, but in a pinch they're more than good enough.

While it may be a valid inclusion, it'd have to be a super rare item as it makes the lantern redundant. I feel like we have a good balance of light sources that each have their pros and cons. 

Even the lantern is much better than it used to be. Before the lighting changes and the light  requirement to craft/repair at night it was only really needed to navigate caves and therefore fuel was almost a non issue.
