Water Purification Redux

I read the other purification bug, but this seems a bit different.

Playing latest version in Whiteout Challenge mode; seems that I can only attempt to purify (with tablets) water when at a fire. Purification does not seem to be an action option if you have non-potable water in your inventory and you are just sitting on a stump eating mushrooms of questionable nutritional value while watching a bear in a clown suit chase pixies through the meadow. Did I mention the mushrooms?

You have to choose the pills, on medical tab in inventory. There you can use it to purify water.

I agree chavez it seems odd that you have the purification option when you are melting/boiling but not when you click on the non-potable water itself.  Romerabr is correct, you click on the tabets themselves and you can use them.
