Long Dark Poem

I stumbled upon this poem on the web and it made me think of The Long Dark. Not just the words, it gave me the same gloomy feeling the game does.

This poem was NOT written by me, but eventhough this thread is about fan creations/ art, it seemed the right place to post this?

That's a nice piece. I can see a clear connection. Sometimes all you need is a few words to say everything that needs to be said.

That's the beauty of poetry

I'll elaborate though;
I think it's written for a person with a lost soul perhaps coupled with a dark past, by a person who is certain they can heal that pain, even if it means stepping into that darkness herself, or in other words taking the risk of sacrificing herself, one soul, to save another, thus she could eventually die trying.

I was hoping for an actual fan made poem about TLD.... >.<
