A cloak, or cape, or a bearskin poncho if you will. Two versions, one made from cloth, and one from Bear or Wolf skins. AND/OR let us wear our bearskin bedroll like this instead of merely carrying it around in a pack.  The old time trappers and mountain men wore these, and so did Natives. They are warm, virtually weather proof, and in regards to wild animals, make you look bigger and more menacing than you really are.
