Scyzara
Not sure if this is by design, but if you try to sleep inside a car with a bearskin bedroll you don't get its temperature bonus any longer. No matter with or without bedroll the bonus is always +3°C (at least in Stalker mode). Just wanted to report this detail just in case it's not by design.^^
Guest Support
Thanks for reporting this. I'm fairly certain this is not intentional
selfless
But you cannot place a bedroll in the car so how is the game supposed to know which bedroll from your inventory to use? How is it going to degrade the condition? It's not broken, it's just not possible. Because nothing can be placed in cars. (Because it is hard.) I guess you could make bedrolls wearable like clothing and force movement rate to zero while they are being worn... Would effect normal beds temperature bonus too then, ... so...? cekivi
I would assume the game would automatically choose the "best" (highest warmth bonus) bedroll in your inventory when sleeping in a car. Just like it automatically picks a bedroll when you have more than one in your inventory. No need to place the bedroll since the car is a special location. Scyzara
Guys, you can already choose which bedroll you want to use while sleeping inside a car (or if you don't want to use any bedroll at all). The radial menu allows you this choice. It's a bit confusing because the "no bedroll at all" option looks like a blue bedroll and not like a car, but it's working. It's also working properly that only the chosen bedroll deteriorates. Everything's fine, just the bedroll temperature bonus needs to be granted if you choose to use a bedroll.
