Yeah i pop in on the forum once every few weeks to check if something changed out of curiosity- sadly it didnt but it stopped bothering me. Ive stopped playing TLD 2 months ago and i dont think i will be back to test new stuff if/when it comes out. Ive moved on to other titles. I got turned down/ disappointed by the studio and realised i cant ask or expoect anything more from them coz they will simply not deliver. TLD is on its last breath anyway i dont expect anything new to happen with this title. Great time playing ! but everything has its end.

Seriously? Well i dont know about that im not a native english speaker. Not quite right - there are some new feats and mechanics introduced to the game since TFTFT update.

Finally im not discarding your opinion but just trying to prove that the points you stated in that opinion are wrong -=> Hinterland is not forcing anyone to do anything, there are new mechanics and features in the game, signal void does leave you some items.....

Anyway - You have stated that You will not do Echoes so there is no point in further conversation. You chose to refuse new content becaues "you dont like it" so why this:

Playing on loper till 250 had no problems with scurvy what so ever. I even made some science on that run and didnt pick any of the rosehips , mushrooms, birch bark. Didnt consume any of the human food - just hauled it to main base and still had no problem containing scurvy. You just need to fish from time to time. If you get scurvy affliction you have 5 days to "start fishing" on interloper difficulty so even if you are in a region that does not allow fishing you have time to go to a fishing spot. Or just carry birch bark and rose hips with you but its not that efficient as fish are. 

OPn my nogoa run current day 60 i didnt get scurvy affliction yet but i eat everything i can find so....

I wouldn't care paying for maps and find it jusitified as Hinterland never stated they would give more and more maps, but I must say I am disapointed, why would you artificially force a player to go through things he don't like ? That's beyond me, I can't see the purpose of this.

Players stated (me included) that finishing signal void first to be able to start echoes is a bad idea and a waste of time for players that did it once or multiple times already ( i myself done void like 8 time so far) so HINTERLAND listened and changed that. Now you only need to complete the void once to be able to start echoes on new chars/runs so i dont understand where is the forcing form Hinterland's side. 

It is normal that in compter games that have some kind of story or progress levels you need to complete the first part to be able to unlock future content/next parts. So if a game has for ex. 4 chapters you must complete them in order so they unfold the story to you. 

Signal void is actually really easy to finish and you can do it in one sitting no problem. The only choke point is in Milton where you need to search for car battery in car wrecks. Sometimes i found it in literally the last car on the map but sometimes it's in the 3rd car i check. Heck it even triggers an aurora when you repair signal towers so you dont need to w8 for the aurora to happen. 

if you REALLY want to see the echoes content i recommend you suck it up and finish void so you wont have to do it ever again if you really dont like it. 

Never ever happen to me - seems like a serious issue. 

The only stuff that despawned on the ground recently were ptramigans and rabbits  that were partially harvested but that was fixed some time ago.

Yes it seems there are more spots for it.  On my current run i have found 2 of them on the summit. One in the container and one on the floor. 

Wow great effort in your feedback. I have only read FA so far and correct me wrong but you dont need light to craft in the basement. Its dark but you can still craft during day. 

I will read the rest soon !!

Okay..... but please tell me:   Im currently on my nogoa run day 44 (82 % hp and 2 stims in inv !) so the custom settings are interloper base but boosted. @Admin what is the drain rate for scurvy on an interloper game? Is it medium or more? is it maxed out? 

If not im affraid i will need to abandon my save again and make another run with the setting to max. I hope it is max on interloper. The thought that my run is not the hardest it can be annoys me and scurvy is really easy to keep at bay so if possible i would like it to be harder.

Well, i play on xbox so no modes for me but its ok. Im actually a no mod kinda guy i like to play the game as intended by the publisher. 

But if i could change anything, anything in the game it would be those 4 things: 

- Place death walls on high slopes so they cant be goated. 

- Make water and food freeze / frozen status so that it must be thawed out before cooking/eating. Water left outside freezes back. 

- Make food smell alll the time and not only when you pick it up so that you have to store it in containers or rockcaches. If left uncheck animals will steal/eat it.

- make food actually go bad so you cant eat it. Ruined meat = no go even on lvl 5 cooking. 

So if they were mods like that i would probably install them.

Darn i saw that post just now and i knew from 1st sec. It's where i get my Pistol flares  usually if not o go to the CH one and find some always there. 

On my current NOGOA run which is very successful (im on my way to the Summit in deer clearing cave atm with backpack equipped day 26, forging on day 14) i had no problems to switch from eating rabbits. I think that there are more deer carcass in the game and i got my skins, guts and food no problem since the start. Also i confirm i find more matches. 

The travois is the best addition to the game since TFTFT update for me. It beats all.

Havent tested it as well but it seems logical for it to take more dmg on hard surface.

I know that if you dont go in a nice str8 line and make rapid turns it makes a squeek sound and that is when it takes dmg. So like - the more turns you take, or your path is a "zigzag" instead of trying to pick a path with most str8 route mthe faster it will decay. 

Still one deer pelt and gut is nothing. I thing it should be more, maybe even one maple sapling. We can get them via beachcombing now even if we pick up all of them in every region.

I tried that some time ago but it still didnt convince me to do that. I've put 2 holes outside of the hut so it was warm to break the ice. 

I usually go fishing for 3 or 4 days str8 and catch at least 30 or more. Oh and i tend not to fish on lvl 1 fishing. One book and ur lvl 2.

It is. That is one of the reasons that im not convinced to use tip ups.  I play custom mode way harder than loper so i dont want to waste my tools so fast.  The pros just dont overcome cons to me.

Try looking again in those locations. It has to be there. It will never be in diffrent place. Ofc there is a possibility that it didnt spawned at all but i doubt it. 

I have made 5 custom runs starting in milton just to check today and in all of them the thermos was there.

The locations are fixed - always. Except the possibility of getting one from a safe (got 2 of them like that on diffrent runs). 

On saves past the last update the flasks are always there. I havent tried older saves - deleted them after update. 

I have found all of the flasks on my own byt i tend to look and loot everywhere plus i know the maps by heart and can traverse with "my eyes closed".

I found my

They have a nice look but i dont use them - im too lazy to put them in and out every time... i still prefer the tea circle. I would love to place them on display, i have all of them but they decay when left outside of the container..... 1 % each game week i think, maybe a couple of days more.

With the tip ups I get noticeably larger fish when using bait, not sure if the lure has any practical effect. While just fishing straight up I don't use anything, as the lure does seem to decrease bite rate from my cursory observations ( might be confirmation bias on my part ). I wonder if there's any flaw in the implementation of the mechanic where it works for the tip-ups but not for manual fishing.

Normal fishing.  Tip ups didnt convince me to use them. It takes too much time to break the ice. 

I still catch way more fish without any lure and bait so I guess its not fixed yet....

Yes DP........ Small but nice. I remember now - the rabbits !!! It was actually my last region on my 100 day in each region challenge in a run that lasted 1300 days  

This was before TFTFT update and before improved beachcombing (which is insanely OP on interloper) on Interloper difficulty. Check this out:
