Cheers guys. Guess it really is missing in that case π€

Is the cache always supposed to be there? I assumed it was random, reason I say that is that it exists on my original save but I've never seen it since on additional plays π€
Apologies if someone answered this, I haven't read the other posts. Lack of focus at minute ππ

Thanks ,so do I.Β
Depends if it's will or AstridπΒ mind you that underwear they wear isn't the most appealing!Β Can't see it being a very long experiment though but this game is full of surprises.π€π
Boots and balaclava only π€£π€£ I'd run in the opposite direction seeing that coming towards me ππ
Yeah, practical rather than aesthetic. More like anesthetic those big briefs π Full of surprises for sure πͺπ

To be honest it was easier than I expected. But mainly because I thought there'd be constant blizzards ,I seemed to get hardly any in most places.Β Most maps were done in less than 12 days surprisingly.
The missing cache was and still is a thorn in my side! Stubborn as a mule so I'll keep trying for a few days even though I don't need to.Β
Thank you I'm glad you enjoyed it!Β
I think I might try the naked pilgrim challenge ! See how long I can survive with nothing except boots on, I need them for the crampons!
The naked pilgrim challenge π€ Sounds interesting, must be a sight to see wearing only boots π» Kinky π
Yeah you did great, maybe got lucky with the blizzards,Β they can sure put a crimp in your plans. Good luck with the missing cache, hope something turns up ππ

Great accomplishment, you made light work of it. Even with the near-missΒ with the moose. Are you surprised how well you did? Do you think it was easier or more challenging than you imagined? And what's next on the horizon? This was really cool, and your descriptive phrasing has been a joy to read everyday βΊππͺ

Probably got lost in all those blizzards I've started getting!π Don't need oil now anyway not after all that fishing I did!Β If I think of a replacement I'll let you knowππΒ Β
ππ
Haha! Sounds good ππ»
An order update actually, my fat, baldy crows are here with lantern oil cans still strapped to their legs. Apparently they tried to deliver your item but your character was lying dead at the bottom of a ravine π« A different dimension, a separate instance of reality π€

You'veΒ movedΒ onto bigger things now then? One day you'll be shaving the statue of liberty's armpitsπ€£Β Β
But I was thinking of someone else actually π€£πΊΒ
Could be?π€πΒ Talking ofΒ deliveries what happened to the crows with my parcel?Β Honestly you just can't get the staff these daysππΒ
And thank youππ a lot of good luck helps in this game though tooπ
ππ
They still not arrived? π I'd send my bears out but ... Ran out of puncture repair kits π€¦
Very true, and you're welcome ππ

π€£π€£ He's been taking lessons it seems! Wonder who from?π€£Β
I must have a guardian angel..Β it does feel like I'm not alone sometimes!Β Β Kinda creeps me out π»
π Not me, too busy shaving trees ππ»
Hmm, spooky π± Could be my bear on a bike π€ He never returned from his deliveries ... And took my white tablecloth with him π»π»
Long may your run continue, sure it's more your skill than a ghost though πͺπ

That's what he's been up to is it? Thought I saw a small bandage on him when he skated pastπ€£Β
He must've got to the prison before me and took it!Β π
That was way tooΒ close for my liking! Could've put a serious crimp in my plans having broken ribs!Β Especially since I still have Mountain town to do and upper/lower bleak.Β Cost me a few bullets but all that steak will be worth it.Β Β
ππ He's now crimping plans? Doesn't surprise me, my collection of blueprints is suspiciously creased these days π€
Yeah definitely got lucky there, too close for comfort. Would have been trickyΒ trying to manage your challenge with an injury though ππ

Was the wolf on the pond ice skating? π€ I seem to have misplaced a friend and a pair of skates πΊ
Good work with the armoured moose, he certainly took a beating. I'm assuming he was wearing that riot vest to withstand your tour de force πͺ I think you deserve a bit of respite after that encounter π

Thank you.Β Don't usually write things like that but maybe I should, the game is a work of art and should be appreciated. Which sometimes I tend to forget .Β
That's very true.Β Maybe not so much on pilgrim but it still throws up a surprise now and again!πΒ
You should, you have an eye for detail. Really conveyed the feeling and atmosphere π»
Couldn't agree more, it's uniqueness is compelling and inspiring π
On a side note, you know why those fridge doors only open so far? You guessed it: πΊ

Love those perfectly calm moments which you described so beautifully π» Just the sound of a breeze and your feet crunching into the snow. Lovely. The game's very unique in that sense, provides a kind of false sense of comfort ... Sometimes have to remind yourself not to get too complacent.

Hope it helps, weird that it's just that game. Bizarre. Sorry for sticking my oar in, by the way ππ
Hm, never seen one at Marsh Ridge, the odd deer. Knowing you, I'm sure you'll find plenty to massacre πͺπ

Oh dear, hope your laser isn't conking out π¬ Might need a lens cleaner, could be a bit of dust in it. Or it could just be one of those things. Is the disc okay? No scratches or anything? π€
Haha! Never understand why they don't fly. Must be stretching their crispy legs π
Ooh, Forlorn should be a good challenge. Plenty of wolves usually. A moose once every blue moon. You could try slicing the moon, I hear it tastes like cheese π
-
You're surviving with ease, despite haunted bear bones and freaky happenings afoot π¬ Wonder if you'll discover a moose π€ I still think they've got wind of your prowess and are circumventing you in all manner of disguises π Hope you stumble across one soon enough π
Impressive skills, prepped for the apocalypse πͺπ

Now you mention it ,yes they are!π Seem to have very big noses tooπΒ
I have no idea what you're implying? She may have accidentally slipped a few dozen times in the past but never pushedπ€£
π€£ My what hairy pits you have, grandma? All the better to, um, shave them with? π€
Haha! Likely story ππ

Tempted yes but I'm behaving myself! Plus Im keeping this save after I've finished the challenge ,not wasting all that time and energy just to delete it! Then I can pig my way through it all!πΒ
There are a lot more wolves hanging around now you mention it ππ€
That's some impressive self-restraint, kudos to you for that πππ Great that you're keeping it, too, and not hurling the poor sucker to her doom ππ
Are they excessively big wolves with deep, booming voices?Β π€π
-
Sounds like slim pickings food-wise. Have you been tempted to munch any peaches or chips? Or are you steadfast and disciplined? Really could use a bit of moose meat. Shame they're conspicuous by their absence. Perhaps they've started cosplaying as wolves π€
-
Sounds like there are plenty of creatures about. Hope you don't find that frequent scarcity of wildlife that afflicts my main run. Mind you, that would be a challenge trying to survice a week or two on cat tails alone π¬
Must be tough leaving behind all those camned and boxed goodies π Pinnacle Peaches, how can you resist? π

If @Matt Lomaxdoes more shaving, you could make a feathered cloak to finish the look! I imagine you'd win the Great Bear fashion competition with your eyes closed! Especially considering your only competition are bears and moose there π Same with the london one, just with less wildlife π
I'm sure you'll find more ammo soon, I'll keep my fingers crossed for you π€π
Β
Β
Only just seen this, my apologies π« All my baldy crows now wear feather boas π¦ π As do my skeleton army π» A fashion show would be a wonderful thing, what a great idea. Could have a best dressed corpse segment too. Let me find my make-up box πβΊ
@LeeandaΒ are you finding many corpses on your travels this time? Good you're finding some feathers at least. Don't forget to make yourself a boa, dyeing it pink is mandatory π
Enjoy chugging back that toilet water, sounds delicious π I do love that region though, usually plenty of goodies to plunder. Lots of birch saplings, too πͺ

Haha, somebody ought to add chicken flavoured bats, and bibs to the game! Make it even more realistic to the Canadian wilderness I suppose π
And I'm very offended, I quite like black wine gums! π
Black wine gums are beaut π»π The juicy chicken flavour is delicious π»π
42 minutes ago, Leeanda said:Lol! Not sure if anyone's eaten a bat before? If they have they probably said it tasted like chicken anyway!Β Most of the odd things people eat usually do!π
Didn't Ozzy Osbourne? π€ Those wings are like crinkled leathery lettuce leaves. Scrummy π

Well if they are fruit bats they can have the rosehips as I don't really have much use for them! π But that's Alfred's problemπΒ
Might be over equipped at the moment! Found another mackinaw jacket this morning and luckily 2 hacksaws!
Sadly no decent trousers though! Might get a bit nippy!π
My favourite place for sky gazing. Seems to be quite a unique weather system, unless it's just me romanticising the place π Just love stepping out The Riken to such variegated hues π»
Sounds like you're handling the challenge well, another moose down and plenty of well-cooked meats dribbling down your chin onto your mackinaw π
Haha! Fruit bats come in assorted flavours like wine gums. Chicken flavour is king πͺ

Mind you I've been wandering around in -29cΒ + without getting cold so anything goes on this run!
π€¦π Game needs those crunchy fried bats you like π
Wow, how you managed that?Β Have you got all your thermals on? π€

Missing prepper cache

ππ Creepiest thing I saw was a moose skating towards me. It freaked me out to the point I was paralysed by it. Then it broke my ribs. Guess it didn't take too kindly to me holding up a scorecard of 4 π«
