  1. Bow skill: novice
    Target: moose
    One shot kill: enabled

    Now, more co[trial ver]ntext:
I recently made my way into mystery lake from furlong muskeg in an effort to survive I think. Either way it don't matter. After somewhat establishing myself in mystery lake camp office, it was time to make a great am[trial ver]erican expedition in search of useless loot. What the hey, eh?

Leaving camp center, I followed tracks toward furlong muskeg and t[trial ver]hen cut toward trappers homestead. From there my plan was to reach cabin past unnamed pond and then go to logging camp and forestry lookout.

As I reached cabin past unnamed pond, I saw a moose. Correc[trial ver]tion: my brain saw a lot of food and satchel. Who can resist?! I began to approach him by hugging terrain, in Hope's of reaching a downed tree that i could climb for a shooting posit[trial ver]ion.

On my approach, I clearly realized moose is aware of my position as he began to stomp ground and make mating noises. I turned around, grabbed my legs and started hi-tailing back to the cabin b[trial ver]ecause he began to charge. I could hear his gallop as I'm sprinting toward the door!

Just in the nick of time I entered and locked the door behind h[trial ver]im. No way he could enter through the armour of loading screen. Behold realism!!

So, what now? After him!! I crouch exited and saw him walking away not very far. Pretty close actually! I took out my bo[trial ver]w, with hand reaching for the door knob just in case poop hits the fan. Pull back the arrow and fire. What happens next?! The poor bastard drops dead like a heavy block of wood! How?![trial ver]!

One mighty lucky shot I figured as I quickly began to harvest his everything.

  2. Imagine harvesting a chair or a sofa or a pallet and getting sprain affliction? It's totally possible in the world of the long dark! Even more so in real life!

How many of you have sprained your foot or wrist trying to break down that pesky chair in your living room? Well, if you

it was half eaten before you found it

Ew, imagine some survivor stuck their fingers in a jar. We don't know where those fingers were before. I'm glad it isn't like that.

Besides, all jokes aside, it would be an annoyance keeping an eye on calories. We already have to deal with different condition of items.

I will use the axe more rationally

If you break everything by hand, axe will last a very long time! If I remember correctly, your harvesting skill has to be leveled up to a certain point to be able to harvest by hand.

Also, if grondstones run out, you can always make axe and knife at the forge.

holy cow, that's a winner imo

+1 ! That is some incredible work. They even have archery book! Leveling up their winning chance as they're taking the photograph!

Edit: does anyone also notice that red little lantern next to a backpack and in the second photo, McKenzie is making rosehip tea? And I'm glad Astrid is staying on top of her pedicure! Those nails look gorgeous!πŸ˜‰

would be kind of sloppy for a second antagonist to just make a physical appearance during the last chapter of the story

Actually, in gaming world, it might pass as a boss fight. But I do agree, hinterland created a dilemma. #1: They introduced a villain and got rid of him in a very irrespectable way. Same thing as that Russian that got killed in cod: cold war game. But at the same time #2: cramming him into last episode **just because**, would look just as sloppy.Β

Either way, they opened so many cans of worms I dont know how they can wrap them all up in one final episodeπŸ€”maybe they need my help to write the last episode script...

  8. What if solid sn....I mean Jeremiah turns out a double agent and saved Dinner from smoke and fire? The way he kicked McKenzie out was suspicious. Not friendly at all.

Looking forward to final boss fight with Donner!

  9. Sorry to hear that, man. I had to wait about a week for an aurora once in bleak inlet. It wasn't fun with endless loading circles for sleeping and passing time and cooking. Felt like forever.

Hang in there, what's another 20 days..
