Thanks that’s good to know, after spawning near damaged trees do they go walkabout or stay near those trees? I’m creeping about in total paranoia now!

I thought sleeping in a vehicle didn’t use the bedroll? I just lost 2% in one night in a car

And presumably the trees don’t regenerate so damaged bark isn’t a proper clue to current moose loocation 

Just before I got stomped I was looking at trees which had a strange texture as if the lower two meters or so had been scraped off. That might be a moose cluue but overall it’s made me even more paranoid!

On 1.92 (or whatever just rolled out tonight) and the bed roll goes down in the fishing hut super easily now so no need to put it in weird places and get clipping phew 

I probably left it there three days with the door open . Maybe in a fishing hut it’s “outside” even if it’s inside ? I’d just rocked up for an emergency shelter after a moose fight... not a good day.

My bedroll seemed to suddenly deteriorate while being used in a fishing hut . Actually it was ruined which was a big shame. I keep an eye on condition and wasn’t expecting it to be dead so quickly. One clue may be that the bedroll was in the hut rotated 90degrees (hey it went green so I placed it) and one end including straps could be seen outside hanging out over the ice. Perhaps it’s nothing but I have a suspicion that condition took a big hit in a storm because it was “outside” . Anybody seen this? Next time I’ll be more careful

No other human bullying (real or AI) , no snipers, no cheats. Most of the rules are clear and logical despite being harsh! And the text is big enough to read the menus on my 32” tv!

I’m on PS4 with the Sony controller and it’s fine but I can see it might be useful for some combos 

PS4 too, there is a button to hold which sets the spear down you have to hold it but not too early 

You get attacked regardless but ideally while he impales himself on your spear. Don’t set it down too early or too late I found it best a spilt second after the charge began 

It would be cool yes and suspect it’ll be sorted soon. I’d love to be able to sit down in a comfy chair but that would mean modelling the legs in various clothing / conditions too . 

I found this out the hard way dropping my loot while waiting for the water to boil...

Digging the frozen ground would be pretty difficult I think but making a snow mound would show the respect I suppose , seeing as spring never comes that’s a permanent burial.

Or even add some classics that are out of copyright? That might be simpler than syncing to a kindle account I think.

You don’t often get time to kill but when you have to play cards to do so I think it would be great to have a real ebook you’ve bought and paid for that can be available in TLD to read on screen rendered as text on a book page. The atmosphere is great until I have to flip cards and watch the calories spin... a real book would be cool and a few minutes reading something would be great I think.

I’ve got an M1 in the post I didn’t know TLD was available for Mac, might see how I can use the PS4 controller with it 

I agree I just noticed some music I’d not heard before and hadn’t considered it might be from an update , really atmospheric

I can get into the small area next to cockpit now since today’s update, no access to actual cockpit though. 

Got it on PS4 in the UK and do my eyes deceive me or is the frame rate a bit more consistent?

Oooh! This is good to know! So the game lets you have the outdoor fire bonus but still lets it heat the cave! Great stuff
