  1. There is no such setting in the game that would make it look as in previous versions of the game. If I turn the sliders down, it looks even worse. There are many people that would like the ugly distance off. This is a big issue in Skyrim, for instance: "Unfortunately, Skyrim has always looked like shit from afar. uGrids and LOD mods help, and of course stuff that can blur out the distance like fog/clouds/DOF. But a crystal clear view in Skyrim that extends for miles is just...going to look like shit, sadly" Hopefully, the Long Dark can get some graphical upgrade in the future (for the new generation of consoles).
  2. That's OK. Sorry for any inconvenience.
  3. Another question of mnie that concerns The Long Dark this time. Can you bring back the invisibility of distant land like before (at the beginning)? It should not be forced but optional, to my mind. I do prefer the old way. For me, that update was like turning Oblivion game (that had the option to turn it off/on) into Skyrim, which lacks the option and the distant land (ugly or beautiful) has to be rendered whether you want it or not. Sad, especially because there is no mod that can ever change it because of the engine limitations. Thanks.
  4. 1. What computer games have you really loved the most and why (from the 70s up to now)? 2. What kind of computer game (other than "The Long Dark") would you like to create? 3. What is your computer game of your dreams that has not been created yet?
