Respawning items in Camp Office, ML

I'm not sure if this is a bug, or by design. But some items in the camp office respawn whilst I'm taking shelter there, but only when I'm loading a previous save file. So far it's happened twice. The items are: one can of tomato soup, 2 storm lanterns and 2 whet stones.

If this bug has already been reported and fixed, I apologize. The Internet has been disconnected from my xbox for a couple weeks and I've been unable to get updates.
