Does this game have any solution for characters getting stuck?

I am in Mystery Lake, I can see the derailed train cars, and I am up on the hill working my way toward the dam. I am in a spot where a hill meets a rock and a bit of the blue ice. both look like I should be able to walk up them, or at least walk back up the hill with sprint. I can't go anywhere. I'd really really hate to have to end a run where I am prepping to head to coastal highway for the first time. (on the way to the dam to drop of 3 liters of fuel and a spare axe, accumulating stuff there for my foray across)

Press F8 to generate a screenshot including the coordinates to your desktop. Upload the screenshot (e.g. to directupload.net ) and link it here, so the devs have the location and will fix it. As to getting your char unstuck: there is not really a "fix" for that as it is, all you can do is close the game and reload. The last game will be loaded from where you have last slept / entered a door / got injured.
