Snow Shelter?

I was watching some old TLD youtube videos there was actually a Snow Shelter option and I can not remember using that. When it did got removed? what is functional? and also I want it back please just for a while to help me in TM I died like 1000 times already

It was removed a long time ago (I think it was in 2014 or maybe early 2015). I don't know if it was ever functional as it was removed before I was inclined to try it out.

Well I want it back and a shovel too, it could be a temporary shelter lasting 24 hours or 6 hours when there is a blizzard. It' s size should be like fishing hut with a door made out of sticks like this
