Bears Not Spawning Bug Fixed for Current Runs or Only New Ones?

On the release of Part 4, there was a known issue where Bears were not spawning in places where they should.
This was apparently fixed with the most recent hotfix.

My question is, was this fixed for all runs, or only for new runs?
I have a run that was created while the bug was present, and after spending some time in PV and not seeing a single bear, I'm curious if this run is permanently bugged.

I have an older run too,and the same issue with PV bears.except the birch forest one,he's still there. @Even Dark also has this issue..

 I haven't seen any on my new  side runs either but I'm sure htl are working on a fix for it.
