light a torch using lantern

basically the lantern is fire ,so how about to be able to light the torch from a lantern , simple mechanics just put the lantern on the floor and light a torch from it

It seems that most lanterns, there is not much of a way to access the flame.  There is the wick, which burns because it is soaked with kerosene/lamp oil and an igniter, which provides the spark to ignite the wick.  I've seen some lanterns which have a small hole at the base, where you can slip in a lit match to ignite the wick.
