Coal "Veins"

Seeing as how we have so many coal mines on Great Bear, and that coal is such a valuable commodity, allow us to "mine" coal in the mines.  I envision this as harvestable areas on the walls of the mines.  We don't have pickaxes, but we can improvise with whatever tools we do have.  Some tools may be more effective than others (a Heavy Hammer vs a Knife for example) which would determine the time required to mine the "node".
