That’s a good point I only thought of it because I’m dealing with it in my yard right now 🤣😢 but there are plenty of deer and thereby deer ticks…. Perhaps the more time you spend harvesting meat from deer or moose, the greater the risk? Yes, it dies in winter, but the oils can remain on whatever it may have been touching, and that lingers.
