Xbox got a framerate buff, but not PlayStation?

Hi all,

 

Just going off of what I've read on Discord, Reddit and elsewhere, it seems the latest gen of Xbox consoles can now play the game at something approaching 60FPS, but no such update made it to PS5

 

I was just wondering why this is? And can we PlayStation players expect the same soon?
