I am writing to you in order to ask you to add such a feature as changing the difficulty in the game. Because it will be very helpful. Why am I asking this? Because I accidentally chose the lowest level of survival difficulty and it's boring to play, maybe. predators run away, you cannot hunt the same bear because he is afraid of you. In general, this feature would be a very useful feature. Please read this message and if possible, add what I mentioned above.

You can already change the difficulty in custom mode to suit your playstyle.  At the moment I'm playing pilgrim but with loper weather and maximum wolves and moose.
