Injured while climbing+dead area?

Hi,
I guess I got into a dead area while climbing. Visually I could climb "out", but the game limits me here.
I can only climb down.

Is my save lost, or is there salvage?

Cool feature, if I get too close to the waterfall, my clothes are 100% wet.

If you haven't got any afflictions ,like sprains you could reload the game. If you don't want to do that though I'm afraid you'll lose the run.

You can "see" it better in the picture, there's an invisible wall, I can't walk any further forward!

The very reason I periodically back up saves.

If you're on PC, grab the WeMod for this game. It has a "fly" cheat you can use to get out. This is exactly the sort of reason why I keep a mod like that handy. I like to goat around in weird areas sometimes, where getting stuck in terrain is a real possibility, but losing a game because of that kind of glitch is unacceptable.

Exactly, I just wanted to go mountain climbing, but I didn't expect something like this.

I'm glad you got it sorted out.  It's always a pain having to restart because of things like that.

There are a few places on the maps that you can get stuck that have been around for quite some time . I think some are intentional though.  

I hope that one gets fixed and you don't end up in any more of them.
