Does someone know about notes founded on the island?

Some of them looks like they're from some books. Books I would like to read. Especially I'm interested in this one:

I doubt it. That would be copyright infringement. If you google some of the phrases you will get nothing. This stuff was contributed by the early backers of the game to add to the lore of TLD and the world going into a deepfreeze after the "event."

You can look up the long dark wiki and read about the notes and the lore.

It is possible some of them were inspired by books or other works of fiction, or heck even non-fiction. But if they were just ripped right from books, then it would be  copyright infringement. Unless they were taken from VERY obscure books that nobody was able to notice.
