When it comes to personal hygiene in TLD, we have options:

  • Strip and fall through ice into ice cold water
  • Find an indoor waterfall (Picnic comes to mind)
  • But when it comes to comfort, my personal favorite has to be the following:

 

1. Get some soap

2.  Prepare your bathing area.  Plenty of cloth for drying off, toilet-set covers (necessary??),  Moose-skin area rug (hate those cold floors!), knife for shaving, charcoal for brushing teeth, antiseptic for post shave.

Washcloth, rope (improvised back-brush), can (for dipping water and rinsing off soap), a hot cup of Joe and a snack.

3.  Prepare your hot water:

4. Haul water upstairs, fill bathtub to preferred temperature, sit back and enjoy!!
