Emojis Took Over Hinterland Forum

The update to the forum went to most unnoticed.

 

But the sneaky plan was to infiltrate and take over our beloved Hinterland Forum.

There dastardly plans have gone unnoticed until now.

The enemy has landed and it looks like an invasion.  So many their numbers seem endless.

Pray for the survival of the Hinterland Team as it goes against the endless hoard emoji invaders.

To us on the outside the forum was down for about a week.  For the ones inside time was measured in decades.

 

After the final battle a few survivors scatter into the forgotten Forum The Dark Realms.  Discarded threads from eons ago. They uncover information that an ancient artifact might help them to subdue the enemy.  After a perilous journey the artifact is recovered.  The artifact appears broken and it needs to be repaired.  Only clue Seek into the Tomb of Forgotten Scripts.  Team Hinterland gains allies.  The Zombie Emojis attack to try and stop Team Hinterland.  The party is almost wiped out by a powerful weapon of the Emojis.  The artifact inadvertently absorbs the energy emission from the weapon.  The artifact looks to explode and after a brilliant flash transforms the Zombie Emoji back to sanity.  After winning a few battles against the Zombie Emoji the team discovers a Mysterious Nad of Great Strat Power exist somewhere on the Forum.  The remaining hoard arrives and they use brutal melee attacks instead of their energy weapons.  The Zombie Emoji have the numbers and as Team Hinterland members fall the hoard swells larger.  Only hope is to find the Mysterious Nad of Great Strat Power.
