I thought I'd start a 'general survival progress' topic. What have you been doing recently?

I just spent a few days at the forge, with the helpful tips of some fellow board users the forging process went swimmingly, I could even leave a truckload of coal and wood behind at the forge in case I need to come back. I made about 45 arrowheads and an improvised axe (which I'll stash at my house in CH, just in case). I still have a bunch of deer meat and salmon at the lighthouse, so I'll read some books and wait for a good day to travel back to CH. From there my next mission will be an expedition to Pleasant Valley or Mystery Lake, I've only found one birch sapling in CH in the usual places.
