Bolt cutters use

I'm going to go ahead and open myself up to a mild spoiler, but is there any use for the bolt cutters, after the initial quest usage of getting through the fence? 1.5kg is a lot to carry around, just in case...

No, doesn't seem to be a use after the fence.

 

Actually, you could carry them around if you don't have anything to smash fishing holes with. I was stuck without a tool to do that, and needing to fish. Bolt cutters might be an option.

Not what I know. Tried using them on the door to lower Dam. No go.
