Game progress deleted after finishing season one

This is the worst thing that could have possibly happened. I have worked so hard and so long to get through season one and after the cut scene to credits once you get out of the cave, I was sent back to main menu and when resuming it started me completely over. None of my supplies saved or progress with grey lady. I'm seriously so frustrated. Am I supposed to just sit for 6 hours and completely redo season one? Like that's the last thing I wanna do. How in the world can this be fixed? I've seen other Xbox players having this issue... I was so excited for the game after waiting so long for it and now it's broken? How does this even happen??
