Death glitch

Silly me of course, I unfortunately fell down a clift while exploring; got the usual sprained ankle and 'You are dead' message. 

 

Unfortunately, it seems that every time I restart at checkpoint or at the save I seem to die

Hmm. You mean upon loading you see the death screen again? Instantly?

When I fell, I got certain conditions and my character of course screamed. 

 

When I spawned back, I was sitting in a car yet my character screamed and then died. 

 

I did "fix it" though when I went to the main menu and loaded my game up again.
