Binoculars

Sudden thought I had while exploring pleasant valley and searching for the tower atop signal hill. Squinting at my screen from 2cm away I thought, "There's got to be a better way." So I though, why not. They seem like they would be fairly common things to find, especially in places like the lighthouse.

Binoculars or a naval spy-glass are very commonly requested item. I like that idea personally as well. However, I would hope they are a rare find, personally.

Another idea I had would be that there could be some rifle scope which could serve for that same purpose, but it would be damaged and could not be mounted on a rifle. I don't want to see rifle scopes in the game, hunting should remain challenging. The advantage of the gun scope would be that an average optic scope would be smaller and lighter than the binoculars. 
But that would make binoculars more balanced - such an awesome item would likely be rather heavy to compensate for dragging it along everywhere.
