Game still hesitates when eating food off Ground

Eating or drinking hesitation from inventory is fixed, Thank You!  But I noticed when eating food directly from the ground, the game still hesitates.   I love what you guys have done with the game.  BTW I have spent over 700 hours playing since Jan of this year.  That's almost an entire month of this year spent in The Long Dark (and yet I still have a real job!)  Either I'm crazy or that shows you guys have a great product.  Thanks for that.

Wow! How is this even possible? If you play 8 hours a day that's almost 3 months of playing. This is incredible!

I'm not judging, sincerelly amazed, it's a game that can very well take this amount of hours, I've played 150/200 myself in total.
