HomeroTLD Posted September 29, 2016 Share Posted September 29, 2016 So i started at timberwolf montain and died alot of times. I noticed that the items are not random. For example: in the place called "Cave" (that one with 3 entraces) there is always 3 sticks, 2 wood, 1 torch, 1 box of matches there. When you get through the "cave D" to "cave C" there is always a corpse inside with a medical item and a torch close by. I fell like the runs on interloper are all very similars and this makes the game easyer each time you play again. Is this intentional? Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

In TLD, randomness doesn't mean that each and every piece of firewood or corpse lying around has a randomized spaw location. It only applies to somewhat relevant items like e.g. the hammer, hacksaw, flares or firestrikers. These 'key' items have a certain number of potential spawn locations, but it's random at which location exactly they will actually spawn. All of this is not Interloper-specific, btw. ChillPlayer Posted September 29, 2016 Share Posted September 29, 2016 It's worth mentioning though that as of now there are some guaranteed spawn points for crucial items like matches in Interloper (probably all modes) but most are random and not guaranteed.
