Safe-Crackin' Done Right!

I almost overlooked this gem, but I love the safe-cracking mini-game. I hope there are more safes in the story mode as well as in sandbox if the map expands. I've only found one so far.

Perhaps a mini-lockpicking mechanic would be helpful as an alternative to crowbar-ing the lockers open. Things like lockers, office cabinets and desk drawers are actually fairly easy to pick in real life, but there could be much harder locks to defeat - buildings doors, vehicles etc.

With the exception of a very few locks (like the safe), there should always be an option to force the lock, but picking would be a viable alternative - especially if you haven't got a prybar!

It would be useful to have a hint as to the controls for this. First glance at it I didn't realise you could do anything. Even when I knew from this forum it could be cracked, it wasn't obvious to me how to turn the dial.

A simple "A left D right" at the bottom would fix this, just like you have with items when you pick them up.
