Iron Wolves

So I'm playing the latest version of TLD (v.348, I believe). Got three wolfskins curing. Hunting for that fourth and a spare. In Pilgrim mode, to boot, so it's a real challenge.

But damn it, that last wolf is proving pretty hard to shoot. 

Using bow & arrow for the other three, going for this last one again.

On the first day, I hunted the same wolf around Misanthrope Island. Shot at him several times, I know I hit him four times because I saw the blood spray (and one of those arrows was square on the head, too). All of the arrows ricocheted off of him as if he was made of iron, and he ran off without a blood trail. 

At the end of the day he hasn't died, he hasn't bled, and I haven't been able to get the arrow to stick in him. 

Tried again with another wolf around the Quonset Gas Station. Hit him twice, again got the blood spray, ricocheting arrow, and no blood trail and no bleeding out.

I'm wondering if this game developed a glitch or if this is a reported bug with this update? It's the first time I tried hunting wolves seriously since the last update.

Playing on a Mac, 8-core Intel, 16 GB RAM, NVIDIA 750 GT with 2 GB VRAM.
