so TLD has its claws in me. 

i've only played through a handful of lives but am currently at the Dam for the first time after spending 14 days at the Trapper's Cabin. that's pretty much all it took to totally hook me. 

i didn't know there was such a strong community online and hadn't looked up anything until now. i'l probably try and keep it mostly spoiler free for awhile so i can keep discovering new places (trying to stay away from maps) and have more experiences like what scared the life out of me in the Dam. i mainly just want to learn some of the mechanics that i'm surely missing. 

this game is phenomenal - so grateful to have something to play that actually requires thought.

I see you had the same experience so many of us have had upon entering the Dam! 

It only shows up on Voyager and Stalker modes, so for me, entering the Dam on Voyager after playing Pilgrim was quite the experience!
