I lost progress...

I logge into my game to see that the game was far behind the point I was at. I lost my fur stuff....

The game saves only when specific things happen.  The best way to avoid losing progress in the future is to do one of these:

• Enter a building, mine, or cave with a loading screen (note! does not save on exit)
• Rest
• Pass time

The game also saves when you get an affliction (sprain, hypothermia, etc) and when an animal attacks you.

I know that... I quit while being attacked by a bear. I thought that worked for backtracking progress and it put me many many days behind. I lost my cured furs and stuff... I realize that I was trying to cheat so I guess I just bugged the game:8
