I could not drive or work for several weeks or do any of my favourite things. When I found out there was a cosplay contest for TLD I decided this would be a good way to keep my mind off my failing eyesight. I decided that Grey Mother would be a bit too on the nose, but I knew my father would make a great Methuselah. Making the costume was very difficult as I could not thread a needle on my own and became depressed. But it’s not over until the last match is spent, and as my eyesight started to return I was able to pick myself up and finish the costume, and spend time with my dad..
