I forgot I even had these photos from when I first started trapping, I figured them lost to the ages. I spent hours making that wolfskin cloak if only I had known just how much I was going to need it. Ma insisted I have that old flint knapped spear with me in the pictures, she was so proud of the work I did. The time has come for me to move on, maybe I will bring these memories with me. “ I made the cloak from a wolf pelt obtained from a Canadian trapper some years ago and a large section of mink fur from an old coat. The sweater I got from a local thrift store as well as the spear. It was definitely handmade but I have no clue to it’s origins.
