Broken Railroad has one that spawns a lot at the lake by the hunters lodge. Its only been missing on two playthroughs for me.

I decided to look up for some tutorial on YT and found Zaknafeins video about Interloper and how to play it and the first thing he said was: If you dont know the maps very well you should not start Interloper. 

After that info i started a Voyager run and it went well. I got to about day 300 ingame maxing out all skills to lvl 5 and learning all of the maps. Then i decided to give Interloper another try and after some tries i managed to survive the opening gauntlet and developed my run. 

And as others said Stalker is just a bit harder than Voyager so after so many years playing i would suggest trying loper. Good luck !

Been thinking about doing that. Stalker seems to just increase predators massively. Might as well just go for the top difficulty.

No I wasnt harvesting anything or carrying any smelly items. It was out of the blue. And that bear has never been close to the church before.

So is it just me or are some of the spoken dialogue lines hopelessly mismatched? Like when I fired the rifle and picked up the brass or when I took a dead rabbit from a wolf that I killed, saying “I hope nobody heeds this anymore”?

I am getting my least favorite animal, bears, in bizarre new places. This morning I was mauled to death in the church in DP. Never seen a bear within line of sight of the church before. Also, I did not know bears could get into the church and maul you while you are behind the fire barrel…

A whole azz boat. A ton of arrows for some reason, a prybar, 3 hunting knives, 2 hatchets, 1 MRE. Several corpses. This was in one playthrough not one blizzard

Great find! Now I have to head on over to see if I can find Gilligan's pocket knife, the Skipper's rabbits foot, the Professor's Science book, Maryanne's 12-gage, Ginger's unmentionables and Mr Howel's BIG-Ole-Chest of cash!

It appeared by jackrabbit island…it was only there for 2-3 days before the next blizzard took it away.

Nowhere on great bear was there a single soul that thought to have extra batteries for their flashlight.

strangely i rarely lose it, because i usually pick it up to rage shoot the bear. Possibly this contributes to my unusually high death by bear rate….

So a whole boat washed ashore on coastal highway. Have yall seen this before? It has a searchable locker in the back. Fun fact, you can fall thru weak ice while on it….

Welp, that run ended the same way most end for me, by being mauled to death by a bear when I exited a house, apparently right into its way.

Continuing the game I have made it to coastal highway and jackrabbit island, where ive begun to set up my first long term base. Clothes are up to 17C  and i am up to 10 rounds for the rifle, despite shooting 2 wolves…

For example, if the misanthrope is so misanthropic why does he have so many chairs in his home? Shouldnt one suffice? Or at least one at the kitchen table, assuming he is not a morning person….

Definitely, even a torch should be ruined. By skin in my previous post I meant the players skin since both your arms are there. You've got a chance to get burned. Maybe not across all difficulties for balance sake, but definitely looper and stalker you should have the chance to get burned.

That would be a good addition. Now i wish it would happen…

The second it starts to feel the heat from a few feet away it's gone.  I think it's natural desire to keep living would cause an instant retreat. But there's also movement so you may just end up pressing the heat to skin. I just don't think in real life you'd get close enough with it to do damage to the mouth. I think instincts would prevent them from getting that close. I guess that's why fire does keep them away in game. 

I agree. I think it should be workable. To keep it from being overpowered maybe lose the flare instantly.

It only needs to inhale while the flare is near OR in any part of the mouth. Any superheated air will do it fast. Ive seen airway burns happen a lot. It would also instantly end the fight. No animal on earth would persist even a second longer.
