A fun challenge is to start in broken railroad, climb timberwolf mountain, and shoot the flaregun at desolation point on Stalker. Kind of like hopeless rescue but a much longer journey. You then have to survive a week in DP in the lighthouse as if you're waiting for rescue. (wolves and food will be a big challenge here.) After a week your character gives up on rescue and moves wherever. Most likely you take trips up the mountain to bring the rest if the loot down to the pleasent valley farmhouse.

LOL,  nice story, I may try

  2. So I've decided  to   move from PV to CH and on my  way  back to  home  in  PV I found a moose. It was cold, I was tired and  I had no  rifle with  me, so I decided to go  home(farmhouse)  and rest until  I can hunt it down.  when I woken up I stayed   30 minutes to search for it but no luck, any tips?

Hey.  Your Stamina (the running bar) does recharge slow. If you sprinted with a lot of gear, you'd be winded too.  You can unlock a feat to increase the recovery rate(although you will have to start a new sandbox to use it).  When doing strenuous exercise(rope climbing, sprinting, etc) your fatigue (eyeball) will decrease at a much faster rate.  Once you're below 50% you will get a weight penalty that continues to tick until it reaches a certain point (I think 50% of carry capacity). You will become encumbered faster and with less weight.
May I suggest drinking some coffee before you go sprinting?  You do use less fatigue that way. Sprinting is useful in some situations, but primarily walking will and should be your mode of transportation. I know, it's slow. Sometimes, VERY rarely, if I need to get somewhere quick and I am already high fatigue, I'll use a stim just to get there (Stamina does not run out while the effects are active).  Energy drinks are wonderful if you have sequential rope climbs, but you will be quite fatigued afterward.

Some clothes do carry a penalty on your stamina bar. You can see what it is by noticing the red filled area on the bar. That is stamina that you cannot use because of the restrictive movement penalty on the clothing. You can also see which clothes are affecting it the most by looking at the clothes in your inventory and the symbol with the person moving will tell you how much that particular clothing adds to the penalty.

Also, you did not mention if you had any status afflictions(aside from encumbered). Some afflictions like Broken Ribs will definitely make a huge difference in your Stamina and weight carrying ability. Hypothermia will make you fatigued quickly. I think infections do as well.

    I hope this helps!

Thanks man, I already knew everything except the coffee one, I'm good at the game and I know these, I was just wondering if it was just me, thanks anyway :)

  4. Hello everybody, I don't know if it's just me but the running bar empties fast but recharges so so slow, and the energy as well, I can barely walk half of region and have like 10/15% energy left, I usually carry with me 28-31 (when I'm not hunting or looting, just scavenging) and loose energy too fast, Is it because of the items I carry or my clothes? Please help me :/

If you leave the maint yard thru the opening in the fence and turn right,  slowly following the the fence line, you should hear some crows just a little off in the distance fluttering over a deer carcass.  Near there is a fallen tree that makes a for a good elevated perch and there's also a moose that likes to roam in that general vicinity.  you can clamber up that tree and from that position are out of reach of the moose!  There's also a bear that wanders around the fence line back there so be careful.  I often climb up on the pipe that leads from the back door of the maint. shed to the opening in the fence, making that elevated vantage a good place to pop that bear, too.
Be wary of the roaming wolf pack that patrols the frozen lake, you'll find a hunters blind down there offering some potential cover if needed.  The hunting lodge isn't too far away and there's a moose that spawns up there as well so you are pretty close to bagging one of those bigguns!  good luck with hunting!

thanks man I appreciate it! :)

...I should have mentioned earlier that if your willing to travel all the way to the broken railroad map, there's almost always a moose just outside the rail road maintenance yard.   just an fyi...

An update, I reached broken railroad, I'm at maintenance yard, any suggestions?

Ahh the Moose, such an elusive creature(aka a pain in the ass :D

In my experience, Moose will be in one area for a little bit then just disappear without a trace. I have even seen rubbed trees but no moose in the area which is really annoying. In Mystery Lake I have seen them by the Trappers Homestead, the river by the dam and over by the cabin on the other side of The Unnamed Pond(Over the Hill but rarely found there in my own experience)

Thanks, I have a lot of rubbed trees as well but no moose

I remember, but for now I want to stay a bit more in mistery lake (recommend me if it's better to move)

Yeah, me too.  I only ever seem to find him on occasion just outside of Trappers cabin.  never seen him anywhere else near those rubs around mystery Lake.  I'm also having no luck on Coastal Highway as well.  Saw a moose one outside the gas station but that was the one and only time.

Okay thanks they might been very rare then....thanks again
