Are you thinking of a court action against HTL?

Over $ 20?  Absolutely NOT worth it.  I'm not mentioning anything about a court action or lawsuit.  I'm only asking someone making a pledge for something deliver on their intent, and if they cannot, please update us as to WHY it cannot be released within the pledged timeframe (Yes, as someone who has played the game since nearly the beginning, I am fully aware as to how they have been poor in announcing release dates on stuff in the past, but now that they have stepped forward with a schedule of updates for those who buy in, the situation is totally different now).  That is all.  I do not ask the impossible of anyone.

Like I said, I'm waiting a couple weeks until I ask anymore.

Why get worked up about things like that.

I've been waiting for Episode 5 for years.

    It'll come.

No one is getting worked up over anything.  Hinterland has made a pledge for $ 19.99 to release a year's worth of updates in 6 periods in 8-10 week cadences.  TFTFT was released on Dec 5, and 8-10 weeks from that is Jan 30th-Feb 13th. We're just saying it's in the pledged time period for the next update and would like to know when it's coming.

  3. So... it has been seven weeks to the day since the DLC came out, and a pledge by Hinterland to release the entire roadmap in a 12-month time span over 2023 in 8-10 week cadences.  So far, I have been enjoying it after taking a year-long hiatus from the game, but it is coming time for all of us who bought into this DLC and the pledge to ask...

....what is coming in the next few weeks?  What can we expect as far as items, features, etc in Part 2, and when between the weeks of Jan 30th thru Feb 13th will it be released?

  4. Well.... I'm convinced there is a bug in the programming or something, because I've been to all four locations in AC for the Curator's Rifle in the Wiki as well as one other location given to me by Lithar of YouTube and it's not at any one of FIVE locations in this game.  :T  This has been one unbelievably annoying and frustrating search.  I'll give it a go again probably in the new year after an update or two.

Got Curator's.  54% condition on day 90.  Now all that's left is Barb's.

      Hide contents

Ash Canyon - High Meadow - next to a corpse on a ledge.

Has anyone else found any other locations to find the Curator's rifle in Ash Canyon? This location is the only one I've seen proof of so far (Lithar on YT posted a vid of it last week). :(

It's actually one of my favorite maps, especially on interloper, second only to AC - and now there is even more incentive to go there ;)

hehehe  To each their own, of course~  You are right about Ash Canyon, tho. That region is gorgeous~ I did manage to go back to HRV and find the bow, now I can give the middle finger to HRV for good and head back to my base in PV~ ^u^

Found Woodright's Bow by a corpse with two new arrows

by the Ice Cave entrance just above Long Shot Falls~

Me neither, I only found Vaughn's in WR. Has anyone ever found two different rifle variants in one run?

I've got Barb's and Vaughn's rifles, so yes~ Also have the Lantern.  Still trying to find Curator's Rifle and the Bow, and if the Bow is in HRV like everyone is saying it is, I may just ignore it, because..... UGH..... HRV....  >.<

On my current run I abandoned looking for it...but I do know that it spawns in Ash Canyon. I just didn't look around the upper levels near the Mine Rope and the plateau outside the Mine entrance to find it.

I've been looking for the last 4 or 5 hours in Ash Canyon and I STILL have yet to find the Curator's Rifle.  :(  Did find Beth's Rifle in Coastal Highway in rather short time, which I didn't expect, but am very thankful happened.

  9. The only thing that I've seen that Insomnia does is randomly wake you up after a random number of hours of sleep with the message "Something woke you up."  Which is something that veteran players will recognize from the earliest days of the game up until 12-18 months later when they removed it, so it's literally nothing new and something that was resurrected from the past.  :(

Some of the memento notes are more in the line of survival hints, e.g. a cave connects Region X with Region Y.  Others point to a specific hidden cache  or a lock box.

Aaaaahhhhhh I see now.... going back thru the ones I had found, I noticed the only ones I found items at where the Momentos that actually mentioned a stash or items or other things there.  The others without a key do indeed seem to be location reveals that would benefit newer players (~1700 hrs in over 8 years here).

  11. I haven't been to Milton yet, but I am having one horrible time finding keyless Momentos in other regions.  Almost all of them I find without a key I can see where it is located on the Map, but when I go there, there is nothing that stands out as a rock cache, lockbox etc except for one in Pleasant Valley.  A lot of these momentos are extremely and obnoxiously obscure it is horrible. :(  I've got Momentos still to find in BR, AC, TM, ML, PV, DP and CH that are just not visible or at the very least are hard as heck to see.  I go to the generalized areas on the map where they're supposed to be, and I can't see anything.  Making me think there is a loading problem or something with the keyless Momentos....

I shall give a miss to the badge for consuming 250 coffees, energy drinks or emergency sims.  I would be amazed that there were that many in the game.

There may not be that many in ONE sandbox game, but if you have multiple sandboxes running, it'd be worth it.  I just got mine after drinking 85 or so coffees from the three games I have going right now~
