I haven't even touched the game since November... and that's going from not missing every week since I started playing back in 2017 and getting the platinum trophy.

patience..... some of us are still waiting on part 1

the current revolver in the game is a double action, and therefore cocking the hammer is not required... as for dual wielding, I cant think of a single case where that would be even remotely necessary

not sure if you are on xbox or PS but you should be able to turn off auto updates to keep that from happening

I may be in the minority and looking forward to a trading / barter system mechanic... the way I see it Hinterland has crafted a well thought out, remarkable game... I see no reason to doubt them now

This is all well and good and true, and it is the reality I - and I suspect you - live. However part of that reality is also that if I crush the final deadline for a project terminally whatever is relying on that project just cannot happen - and I'm out of the job. My company is managing, producing and developing the IT stack for a national German doctors convention that is held annually, for example (one of the two projects I'm personally spearheading). If we don't get things working by date X 20+ thousand people can't have their convention. We'd be doing this exactly once, and then never see another dime from the people hosting the convention.
So while I have tremendous sympathy for all the things that can go wrong developing ever increasingly complex software (or projects in general) and understand every bit of delay in that I actually understand why they do occur, the kind of delays, staggered releases, live "beta-testing" with products hardly working at all while being sold at full price we've come accustomed to in gaming wouldn't fly in pretty much any other "serious" industry.
Hinterland's saving grace so far has been that they eventually always delivered and stuck to their promises while remaining exceptionally humble - and I give them them tremendous credit for that as it is sadly no longer naturally the fact with other studios, big or small. But frankly: you cannot underestimate how valuable it is that you can count on an outstanding fan base that will overwhelmingly just stick with the project no matter what. And I am sure they know how lucky they got.
there is a big difference to committing to the deadline proposed by your customer.... to one that you set yourself

Can't wait to dive in... great work by all involved !!
afterthought... I really hope the loot tables are completely randomized.. it would certainly make Interloper way more interesting and not completely predictable

first of all... handguns are quite prevalent in Canada, and those of us that do have them legally have used them responsibly.. the "new law" does nothing but punish law abiding citizens and will do ABSOLUTELY NOTHING, zero, zip, nada to stem crime and violence in Canada. Secondly the new law allows people who currently have handguns... to keep them... thirdly...if you have one, or ever used one, a shotgun is a messy bit of business and would serve only as a deterrent the same as the current revolver... unless you enjoy spending hours picking shot to try and salvage meat
sorry for the rant

misused phrases could be fun... I mean worst case Ontario... we get a few laughs

I, personally, don't honestly think an expanded autosave system benefits anyone or needs any change at all... all the ways you can save now should be ample enough

I too enjoy Wintermute, but let's be honest survival is where this game shines... and if DLC can be had to improve on the survival experience I definitely want it first.

I really like this idea... long have saplings needed a further use and another use for skins doesn't hurt. In addition, smaller is better as mentioned above as its easier to heat a smaller space... in addition to the saplings and skins best throw in some gut as well for tying it all together

honestly....just take my money now... there is no gaming experience like Great Bear in winter
hell I would pay just to be able to hang stuff up like in the rail car pic. (console)
