Flares vs Fishing Huts

I read that people are using flares to pause attacks from wolves long enough to pop em. Another easy (and fun) way is to draw them towards you while in front of the door of 1 of the little fishing huts. When a wolf or bear attacks, get to the back and wait for it to pass by. For some reason (until they read this and fix it) they can't enter the huts, even with the door open. It's actually exciting because after you jump in they stalk the hut a bit. You hear them outside growling and snarling. It may not seem "fair", but it's a good trade for when you're starving. And a bear can yield about 74 lbs of meat and 10 guts.

Its not just fishing huts, its hunting stands as well.

Didn't know this, have ran a few times across mystery lake to the one hut with a door, I've even been leaving the door open so I can get in quick and slam it behind me. Getting trapped in one after dark when a storm hits and the temperature plummets whilst you can hear them outside is fun for lowering your vocabulary.
