Oculus rift before launch?

I havent tried VR yet, but I really want The Long Dark to be my first experience with VR. I know TLD is getting Oculus support, but will it be long after launch or some time in alpha or beta?

We haven't announced any new news yet, but I can tell you that completing the game and story are definitely taking priority over implementing Rift support. That being said, it is definitely still happening.
