I need help about the hunting knife? :)

Hi survivors

I'm still new to the game and I hope someone can give me some information about knives.

Any special place/location for getting a hunting knife - atm I'm at the Coastal Highway.

I've also been searching Google and seems like the game has 2 types of knives?

A hunting knife and an improvised knife (made of cloth + scrap metal) ???

Work bench doesn't supply crafting that sort of knife.

You are going to have to find a hunting knife, they are placed somewhat randomly, but often by a body or in a building. The improvised knife requires the use of a forge. I won't spoil where the forge is, but you can find out on the forums here.

I don`t know how I can get you some advice without spoiler you to much. :-)

The Hunting Knife you can find in Houses or Fishing Huts.

All the Improved Items you only can self made by the forge but this you have explore also by your self in the game, I think.

Sorry for not write too much down, because it`s what the game is made for...

to explore the world and find new knowledge every day...

Knives let you harvest deer, rabbits or even wolfs an bears a lot quicker. They random spawn in different locations, like other tools. Just keep searching you should find one. Some runs/games you might get lucky quicker than others.

Also I usually worry more about finding a axe when I start a new game. Axe let's you chop down larger logs and furniture. That way you can build longer lasting fires to cook and boil water to drink. gluck
