I had 1.02 l "Water (Unsafe)" in my inventory and decided to drop exactly 1.00 l.

Afterwards there was no "Water (Unsafe)" at all in my inventory and the amount on the floor was exactly the 1.00 l i decided to drop.

So the remaining 0.02 l were simply discard.

Happens the same way with "Water (Potable)".
