Stuck between a rock and... a tree

So I was working my way up a hill next to the river in Mystery Lake and got stuck in a tiny depression in the hillside. It was next to an exposed rock face and a tree. I could move sideways less than a meter and up and down a few centimeters, but that was it. There was no way to climb out of the hole. I thought that maybe resting would move me, but as soon as I did it, I realized that action was a dumb idea, as it saved the game and I was still stuck.

I'm on v.258.

I took some crappy screenshots, sorry for the quality (phone). I also marked approximately where it happened, I think - it could have been anywhere around there, maybe closer to the dam.

Since I was dehydrating and the wind blew out my last fire, I drank dirty water and ended up dying in my sleep. It's too funny - it says I died of dysentery. Flashbacks to Oregon Trail.
